In the late Friday evening, after a great slalom intensive training session, we started our trip to Denmark. At 1am in the morning we woke up the landlady, who welcomed us very friendly. After storing the dogs and luggage, we got 4 hours left to sleep.

Punctual at 7.45am we were at the place to buy a tent first J

Stormy was the first one today. He presented himself in a very great way ignoring the cold but dry weather. Johanna and Stormy got one of the little “Excellent”, got second in the Open Class and later forth in the competition for the best male under judge Irina Poletaeva.

After a little break it went on with the Pharaohs in the neighbor ring. Under judge Eli-Marie Klepp from Norway Turner got best male and BetteBette - she was so brave – got her first Danish CAC and got second best female. Now it was time to relax and wait for the juniorhandling competition.

After choosing the finalists from the first age class, it was Johanna’s turn in age class 2 under judge Linea Søgaard from Denmark. In a very strong group and during heavy rain, she qualified herself and Merly for today’s finals. Today everyone of the 8 finalists got a dog of the identical breed. A Whippet. Johanna did a great job with the little female she got and convinced the judge about her skills. Finally it was called ***Best in Show Juniorhandler*** for Johanna!
